MoST Online Marketing Features
Below you will find the description of some MoST features that can help you use the product to enhance your marketing communications offering through your website.
Please use the menu of features on the right hand side of this page to navigate the MoST e-Commerce Features contained in this page.
Email Forms
This facility allows you to easily build customised email forms for your site, so those browsing your site can easily contact you.
Fields can be marked mandatory, and when creating the form you can choose from a variety of different responses, such as check boxes, radio buttons, drop down lists etc.
Great for allowing site users to contact you in a secure and guided manner, without having to list email addresses on the site.
e-Zine
An e-zine is an online newsletter facility that allows you to create email newsletters to send out to large groups of stakeholders.
There is no limit on how often you send an e-zine, and no charge for each newsletter sent.
This facility runs from a separate database, and the feature also gives you the ability to create a custom template to wrap around the newsletter when it goes out.
Newsletter recipients can simply use an online form to opt-in/opt-out of receiving ezines. This action auto-updates the database of subscribers.
Banner Ads
The Advertisement Management function and Banner Ad’s allows you to create banner ads and advertisements to display on your site.
You or a design company can design these. It’s a great way to sell advertising on your site, or to market important products and services belonging to your organisation. Banner Ad's monitor click throughs also.
Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Tools
Search Engine Marketing Tools exist inside the MoST WYSIWYG editor. The editor provides the option for a site administrator to create and edit title tags, upload meta data, keywords and kephrases to a page, and insert alt text behind non-text images. Such actions are shown to positively contribute to natural search engine optimisation.
Several other MoST Features are capable of turning your site into a strong marketing and communication tool, so make sure you check them all out!
RSS Feeds
An RSS feed is used to automatically publish frequently updated web content (i.e News Articles), and contains either a summary of content from an associated website, or the full text.
There are two ways to use RSS; you can either ‘pull’ or ‘push’ the information. A MoST site can either publish an RSS feed(s) for others to subscribe to ('push'), or a MoST site can publish another websites feed, such as the NZ Herald ('pull'). An RSS is a good way to keep your website fresh without having to update it, and a cost-effective way to provide real-time information to your consumers!
